This hoard was donated by Neil Burridge, a specialist in prehistoric reproductions of Neolithic and Bronze Age artefacts. Mr Burridge purchased the hoard from eBay and donated it to MAA because of the hoard's alleged findspot of Littleport, Cambs. The seller enclosed a note which reads 'Late Bronze Age Bronze ingots 1,000 to 500 BC. From a hoard found near Littleport.' The hoard was apparently found by the seller's father. Mr Burridge tried contacting the seller to obtain more information but was so far unsuccessful.
