Description
Wooden club, with leaf-shaped head and raised central mid-rib, elliptic in cross-section. Decorated on upper part of club’s head with a bell-shaped design, infilled in in red and white pigment. Serrated edges on the inside of the outline, the mid rib runs through the design.

Wooden club, with leaf-shaped head and raised central mid-rib, elliptic in cross-section. Decorated on upper part of club’s head with a bell-shaped design. Serrated edges on the inside of the outline, the mid rib runs through the design. The surface of the design is in filled with white pigment (?lime), but only fragments remaining.
Design at base of head is the same design in reverse, but lacking the serrated edge. One side of the bell-shaped design is filled with red pigment, the other with white, ?lime. Below this, the mid-rib ends and the head is decorated with an oval shape with double outline, the outer red, the inner white. The inner design shows two rows of incised squares, the central dividing line is red. The designs are repeated on the reverse side, but more faded. Shaft is oval in cross-section, with pointed end.
