Context (Amendments / updates)
Cultural group previously recorded as 'Miro'. Jack H. Driberg noted in 1921 that Miro was a term by which outsiders called the Lango people, which they rejected. The cultural group field has been updated to 'Lango'.

Context (Amendments / updates)
The catalogue card for this object is marked with the Annual Report number AR 1907.732. The idno is noted on an additional catalogue card for AR 1907.729-731 but this appears to have been in error as the description lists three black seed bead caps and notes that 731 is missing. The Annual Report numbers have been listed under the year of Accession rather than year of Report (1908), so both have been entered into the Other Nos. field.

Context (Amendments / updates)
The records for the five headdresses listed together in the Accession Register as E 1907.570-574 and in the Annual Report as AR 1908.728-732 have become entangled with one another. Since the objects are labelled with secure historic labels, the decision was taken to follow the numbering on these, and treat the numbers on the catalogue cards as incorrect.
