This catalogue record previously gave the Place as San Nicholas Island and the collector as James A. Barr, but this was likely due to a mistaken duplication with the subsequent idno. The online Hearst Museum catalogue record for 1-7050 notes that there is no findspot more specific than California from Older University Collections. The Field Collection and Place have been updated accordingly.
