Description

Sherd, from hollow anthropomorphic figurine, depicting a European male figure wearing helmet. Facial features depicted with incised lines for wrinkles; perforations for eyes; incised lines around mouth area; incised lines at chin, possibly a beard. Helmet with flat square at centre of forehead with cross hatched lines; top of head with series of arched lines. Material pale orange in colour with gritty micaceous temper.
