Description (Physical description)
A large axe made from chipped and ground porphyritic basalt or andesite. Blade is a large, broad lobe of lenticular cross-section with a sharp cutting edge and straight, tapered sides. Butt end is of a fish tail type: the base of the blade has a shallow indentation on each side; the butt is slightly expanded with a chipped, rounded end.
