Description

Bichrome vessel with strap handle and three birds painted on body, possibly flamingos, with fine line detailing. Rounded upright rim, strap handle extending from the middle of the spout to the upper half of the body; rounded body, tapering slightly to flat base. Birds, band around bottom of spout, bottom of vessel and base slipped red. Cracking in body.

Note in G.H.S. Bushnell's hand on catalogue card for 1947.304 A-B, but applying to the whole Macandrew collection, reads: 'The collection said, on the Colchester label, to come from Chimbote and Trujillo'.
