Part of a small buff ware bowl with red colour- coating, much worn (restored). This and A had been broken when the burial was disturbed, removing the lower legs of the skeleton and breaking the accessory vessels

A label accompanying the restored bowl reads '52.448. Colour-coated bowl and glass jug found with a burial. The body had been buried in a wooden coffin and these vessels placed inside by the right foot. ARBURY RD, CAMBRIDGE. 4th century A.D. d.d. City Engineer, Cambridge.'.
