Description (Physical description)
Description for Z 12901[.1-2]: Two brass hairpins. They are of an identical design with small rounded heads followed by eight centimetres of twisted metal. The metal flattens out after the twist and ends in a tip. They have an elegant simplicity, which is quite different from the other hairpins. Information provided by Dr Ohioma Pogoson, Honorary Curator of the Museum of the Institute for African Studies, University of Ibadan, Nigeria. January 2013.
