Context (Amendments / updates)
Source was previously recorded as: '?N.W. Thomas Collection; ?Thomas.N.W (collector); ?Bevan', but this is not supported by the Accession register entry or catalogue card, and there is no Thomas label attached to the object. This discrepancy was previously noted by T. Cotterill in 2001. It is not clear where this information came from, and the mask does not seem to be contemporary to the rest of the Thomas collection, therefore this information has been removed.
