Description
A calabash dish or a lid to a dish. With an upright rim and decoration on the body and base of the vessel. The rim has a zigzag cut out. Then a band of squares of alternating cross-hatching and geometric patterns. The base has a circular band of squares filled with geometric patterns that alternate with triangles filled with cross-hatching. Stained or possibly smoked dark brown. Two fragments have broken away from the rim, there is also a contemporary repair using cane.
