Lent to the Exhibition 'Origins of the Afro Comb: 6000 years of Culture, Politics and Identity' at the Fitzwilliam Museum 1 July- 3 November 2013 on 21/11/2011. Comb may not have been included in the exhibition.
A contemporary art installation, 'My hair: black hair culture, style and politics', was also held in the South lecture Room at MAA, 2 July- 28 September 2013.

Comb carved from wood. Narrow rectangle with six tapering prongs, angular shoulders and a narrow handle; decorated with carved grooves and zigzags; possible black pigment on rear. End of handle broken and missing.
