Oyiya or comb carved from wood with six tapering prongs. Handle with zigzag edges, protrusions in the upper corners and an upside down triangle at the top; possible red pigment. One prong broken and missing.

Lent to the Exhibition 'Origins of the Afro Comb: 6000 years of Culture, Politics and Identity' at the Fitzwilliam Museum 1 July- 3 November 2013 on 21/11/2011. Comb may not have been included in the exhibition.
