Description
Short, carved wooden staff with a creature at the top (possibly a pangolin). The creature has a small face and four legs and the body is squat and textured. There are two circular shapes which may be ears and a single arm with hand holding something by one of the ears. The creature stands on a circular platform at the top of the staff. There is an abstract motif carved into the bottom part of the staff.

This appears to be part of a group of rattle staffs collected by N.W. Thomas, although it does not have a rattle section and is shorter than most of the other staffs.
