Description

Urhukpa-Ẹvbi. Oil lamp made of iron. Wide, flat saucer attached to a pair of cross hoops with slightly scalloped edges and incised decoration; from the centre of the cage, the trimming apparatus is hung by long linked chains. The lamp is suspended by a three-linked chain with right-angled hook and spiral-twisted shank.

Description (Physical description)
Iron lamp, made from a shallow, circular dish with two arcs riveted on to form a cage and with a hook for suspension and two implements on chains. The strips of iron forming the arcs have a slightly scalloped edge and incised decoration. There is a disc, perforated with holes, which sits on top of these arcs and a handle formed from a piece of metal, three links and a hook. There are two chains, each with five links, attached through the perforated disc, one terminating with a spoon, the other with a triangular ?scoop. The iron is rusted.
