Context (Display)
Displayed as part of the Spotlight on Stores Move exhibition. Caption provided by Lucie Carreau: 'Scarred gourd. I was drawn to this object because of its bold repair. So much care and skills has gone into fixing it. The break reminds me of the gourd’s fragility. But the intricately stitched scar tells me about its journey of recovery and strength.'
