Context (Other)
AR number given for this object/record relates to E 1905.229. Annual Report records three frontlets AR 1905.853-5, which correspond to E 1905.228, 229 and 230 B. No record of a further feather frontlet/headdress in accession register (Acc7), 21st annual report for 1905 or in Charles Seligman's original 1905 typescript list of objects donated on behalf on William Cooke Daniels (MAA Archive OA2/12/9).

This is possibly a duplicate/rogue record amalgamating details for E 1905.229 (cassowary feather headdress from Fly River) and E 1905.230 B (pigeon feather headdress from Rarai) - further investigation needed.
