Donated in 1903 by Sir Apolo Kaggwa, the Katikiro of Uganda, who represented Uganda at King Edward VII's coronation. He presented objects E 1903.466-480A, through the Rev. John (later canon) Roscoe Church Mission Society.

Description (CMS Description)
Necklet worn by royal bodyguard when in king's presence. It is penannular in shape, a ring of brass, the lower half of which is beaten out into a flat band. This portion bears an incised pattern of dots arranged in triangles, separated by a row of dots. Around the round upper half are five rows of incised dots, arranged spirally, and passing around outer portion of ring. cf. A.R, 1904, p.13, 577.
