Description
Tobacco pipe. An internode of bamboo (Keme) with a hole at each end, one hole in node and another in side at opposite end. The pierced node is decorated with a piece of mother-of-pearl set in wax and surround with Abrus seeds, incised clan pattern set in middle of outline of totem image - probably Soka: a dog. Function as per 1912.791.623. Clan pattern - Sa: Giya. Clan - Wabadala. Moiety - Segela. See paper archives.
