Description

Frontlet - Frontlet made of leaf spathe and decorated with three panels of oblong plaques of shell, orange-pink, and two panels of cut cassowary quills. Bordered along top and sides with pearl shell discs. Missing several pink shell plaques. Fair-poor condition. Also see (E 1903) 219 and 221.
