Research visit 20/9/22: Rosa Dyers (PhD student working with Pitt Rivers) and Andreas Schlothauer (Kunst & Kontext) confirmed that the feathers are flamingo.

Research visit 20/9/22: Rosa Dyer, PhD student on a Pitt Rivers Collaborative Doctoral Programme, confirmed that she had spoken to the community who produced this object, who confirmed that 'Lengwa' an outdated and inappropriate term for their cultural group - Enzet Sur is the modern term. She also identified the feathers as being from flamingoes. Please see researcher database for information on her visit with Andreas Schlothauer.
