Description (CMS Description)
Ivory pendant shaped in the form of a leba fruit: rounded body flaring at one end. The flower is cut into two vertically. Through this cut a string could be pulled to hang the pendant from. Part of a plaited coir coconut fibre string is left in the cut. Vertical grooves run down the entire surface of the object. On one side the ivory is lightly lighter in colour than on the other. '1923.H159' and 'Z 2722 D' inscribed in black ink in the flaring part.
