Description (CMS Description)
Turtle-shaped bowl carved from a solid piece of dark vesi wood. The head of the turtle is facing down when the bowl is used. The bowl is badge-shaped, the pointed end acting as a tail (pierced with a hole). Two flat trapezoidal legs are placed on either side of the tail. An oval head projects from the opposite side of the dish. Two holes indicate the nostrils. Circular protrusions indicate the eyes. The front flippers are thin and embrace the curve of the bowl. They are pierced with a hole on each side. At the back, a slight ridge connects the centre of the bowl to the tail.
