Description (CMS Description)
Small water container of glazed ceramic in the shape of two interconnected turtles. The centre of the turtles are connected by an arch provided with a hole at the top. The arch and the top of the turtles is decorated with incised lines and dits. Each turtle provided with back legs (one broken on each turtle) and a tail at the back and two front legs (one broken and reconstructed with ?plaster) and a head (two protruding eyes and a notch for the mouth) at the front. One turtle has a cylindrical spout protruding from its side. The other has a small circular hole at the base of the arch. The back of the pot is also decorated with incised lines and dots.
