Description (CMS Description)
Headrest carved from a solid piece of dark vesi wood. The bar is rectangular in section (52.1 cm long x 5.2 cm wide), flaring towards the ends and slightly curving upwards. The bar rests on a wooden ring itself resting on a thin rectangular base with serrations along the long edges. Underneath the base, one of the short ends is notched. The bar is chipped at one end. The base is heavily chipped on both long sides and deeply ?notched underneath.
