Description (CMS Description)
Necklace formed of a ?four-ply plaited ?hibiscus fibre cord into which has been woven 51 pairs of blue and white beads (84 white beads and 11 blue beads). Three beads are missing from the visible pairs. Many pairs are missing on either ends of the neck-cord. At one end, there is a broken blue bead still attached and a fragment of a white bead still caught in the fibre. Both ends of the neck-cord are frayed. A small modern rectangular label reads ‘Z 2767’ in black ink.
