Necklace (?sisi) formed of two rows of carved sections of whale teeth (back row: 30 teeth; front row: 29 teeth), pierced at the top and strung on a cord formed of 9 strands of 3-ply plaited coir, themselves plaited into a 3-ply plaited cord. An additional length of twisted vegetable fibre is woven around the cord and between the top of the teeth. Both front and back rows of teeth are slightly curving outwards. The teeth are a light yellow colour at the front and a darker shade of yellow at the back. 'Z. 2762' inscribed in black ink on the penultimate tooth from the left. '1923.H130.' inscribed in black ink on the last tooth from the left.
