Necklace (sisi) formed of 19 whale teeth pierced at the top and strung on a cord formed of several very fine strands of 3-ply plaited coir. An additional length of coir is coiled around the cord. A length of grey (originally white?) woven textile and barkcloth is woven around the central cord and between the teeth. The front of the teeth is of a light cream colour while the back is a very rich honey colour.
