Description

Spear with a wooden shaft and metal spearhead. The spearhead has a short split socket; blade has rounded shoulders and tapers to a blunt tip; the blade and socket are decorated with grooves. Below the socket, the shaft is bound in metal with grooved decoration and a rolled collar at the base. The shaft is thick with a circular cross-section. The terminal of the shaft is also bound in metal; any butt has come away and is missing, and at the base of the terminal is a protruding nail.
