Description

Large brass censer or incense burner. Consists of a handle at top, with chains, bells, and an incense container hanging below. A chain with a small cross can be pulled out of the top of the handle, which controls the opening of the incense container. The container features openwork diamond-shaped designs, which allow incense smoke to flow outward. Corrosion and white accretions present on bells. Used in churches.
