Description

Curved sword (.1) with purple velvet-covered sheath (.2). Hilt of rhinocerous horn terminating in a hemispherical metal boss. The fuller is decorated with a representation of Menelik on one side and the Lion of Judah on the other. The velvet sheath is decorated with two bands of open metalwork; a purple leather belt is attached.
