Description

Headdress or crown of animal skin encased on one side (inner) by red and green woven silk cloth and outer by metallic ad inset with blue and green coloured stones, drops on chains of small trumpet tubes, at lower rim and pointed, shaped sections from upper; some pushing forward with trumpet tubes dropping from metal chains. Long length of green and yellow woven silk from back.

Any fur there was originally is now missing from the headdress, although the hide of the lion's mane remains. The silk lining is faded and damaged.
