Description (CMS Description)
Necklace composed of four whale teeth strung on a cord of two-ply twisted coir and interspaced with flat beads carved from coconut wood and four flat and white shell beads. The end of the cord is tied with a knot at one end and stopped with red wax at the other end. The tip of one of the teeth has been flattened. On three of the teeth, attachment holes have been severely damaged and new ones drilled. '25.298' inscribed in black ink on two of the teeth.
