Context (Acquisition Details)
cf 1922.1170 which was purchased by Louis Colville Gray Clarke from William O. Oldman who got it from York Museum where it had been since 1824. This may have had a similar route with Clarke acquiring it via a secondary source rather than directly from the York Museum.
