Torres Strait Islanders: An Exhibition Marking the Centenary of the 1898 Cambridge Anthropological Exhibition' at UCMAA, July 1998 to December 2000, with following label " Model garden figure madub. Model of a madub, an image used to ensure good crops of yams, sweet-potatoes, bananas and sugar-cane. This figure originally held a spear-thrower and had twigs and flowers beath it' s arm.
