Gilt, brass figure of a bodhisattva, perhaps Manjusri, seated in the diamond lotus position. He is shown in Dhyana Mudra, which involves both hands laid in the centre of the lap, one on top of the other and palm up. Here he holds a vase with flowers in his open hands and is adorned with jewels, and ornamented headdress.
