Bullroarer. Narrow splint of black palm wood with truncated angled tip and squared off pierced end. Knotted loop of fine twine attached through piercing. Original accession notes: " One of 2 small bull-roarers. Used in MOMDAS (initiation ceremony). Swung on a long stick which is held loosely in two hands."
