Description

Heavily padded, helmet-shaped, silk cap. Exterior covered with yellow-brown woven silk textile decorated with green and blue geometric and foliate motifs with heavy quilted stitching. Small panel of brown cotton fabric, printed with brown flowers, on crown alongside knotted and looped tassel. Interior lined with loose woven, coarse brown fabric and panels of faded blue cotton fibre. Dark blue tie stitched to front chin.
