The Annual Report provenances only three walking sticks to Dominica, based on the Register entry for 1937.1320 West Indies/Made by Caribs in Dominica'.
It is likely that these series 1937.1320-2325, which includes this whip and other walking sticks are also from Dominica but the register entry is left blank after the initial entry of 'West Indies' for 1937.1320.

Whip formed of a strip of hide, tapering to a fine lash. Grip of plaited green and black leather. Wire and fine chain binding, possibly a combination of brass and copper, above handle, now very loose
