Context (Field collection)
Donated by Walter William Skeat and noted only as West Indies, but probably collected by his younger brother, Arthur Percival Skeat, J.P., Crown Surveyor, and planter from Londonderry, Dominica. He laid out the boundaries of the Carib reserve in Dominica in 1902.
Walter Skeat also gave Dominican material collected by his brother to the Pitt Rivers Museum in 1898.
