Description

Chinese dragon headdress worn (by Mr. C. Wallace) as part of Carnival costume for the samba school of Estacio in 1988. This plastic headdress is spray painted blue, green, yellow, pink, black and white and has a golden horn, moveable mouth of red felt with painted on teeth and a beard of thin plastic streamers (raffia-like). The headdress is also decorated with small mirrored glass, white fake fur trim (on eyebrows and around mouth), multi coloured netting made into pompoms for whiskers and has internal foam padding to hold the headdress on the dancer's head.
