Context (Analysis)
Translation of the label on the wayang Siam puppet by Matthew Cohen provided on 29/08/2015 reads, 'Putri Mana Daki [?] istri Ma[haraja].Wana', which translates 'Princess Mana, the wife [?] of the Great King of the Forest'.
Maharaja Wana, the Great King of the Forest, is the standard name for Ravana. The Ramayana epic is known as the Hikayat Maharaja Wana, 'Story of the Great King of the Forest'.
