Necklace (sisi) formed of 20 whale teeth strung on a cord of twisted hibiscus fibre. All the teeth are pierced at the top, the cord running through the holes. They are a rich honey colour at the front with a slightly darker shade at the back. The top of each tooth is lightly scratched. A small round label with a metallic border is attached to the cord and reads [handwritten in black ink:] ’31.205.’. '1931.205' inscribed in black ink on the side of the first tooth from the left.
