Description (CMS Description)
Necklace formed of two strands of ?four-ply plaited ?vegetable fibre on to which have been strung blue, white and red beads. The two strands are woven together for half a centimetre on each side and about a centimetre in the middle. The pattern formed by the beads is a variation in length and combination of the following: two white beads, two red beads, two white beads, long length of blue beads. Each strand terminates in a knot and a short tassel of red and white beads. A small rectangular modern label attached to the necklace reads ‘Z 2710 B’
