Description

Tsughumini. A woman's skirt made from two panels of black cotton sewn together; one panel is woven with thin yellow stripes; the other panel is also woven with wide blue stripes with thin yellow and red stripes. It is embroidered with patches of red and yellow wool, and red zig-zags along one edge; cut cowrie shells have been stitched in rectangular shapes and clusters of three.
