Two lengths of embroidered edging or border. Strip of black woven silk, embroidered with cream flowers in chain stitch with running band of repeated flower motifs below; flower centres embroidered with purple-red thread, with green and yellow thread at edge of 1988.445.1. One selvedge edge on both pieces, other edges cut or torn and raw with small holes from previous stitching.

Large sample of embroidered edging. Black silk background with white silk thread flower and leaf and running border motif. Flowers have red centres. Flower motif is in good condition, background material is poor. Fair condition. Floral motifs.
