Context (Analysis)
Cream silk backing has lines of small stitched holes. Likely that it has been reused from a different piece. Cut edge is raw and unfinished.

Description (Physical description)
Rectangular length of cloth with embroidered border. Border of red silk embroidered with flowers, birds and foliage in cream, green and yellow, sewn along three edges of green silk fabric; backed with cream silk. Cut along one long edge.
