Description for 1988.403 A-H: 'There are in fact eight towels.
A-B: are beige or tan coloured, with the embroidery in rose, two shades of blue, green and black.
C-D are natural coloured linen with embroidery in pale green, pale pink, ?black and heavy gold thread and beading/sequins.
E: Very fine linen, full length towel in cream with embroidery in pale pink, pale blue, pale green and metal. Also has a small white label stitched into a corner with "M 28" stitched in red on it.
F: Square, fine linen towel, embroidered around all four edges.
G: Square, very fine linen, edged on all four sides with gold trim, and embroidered in very simple leaf and flower designs in green, blue and pink primarily.
H: Long and thin, fine linen towel in cream. Embroidery only on the short ends. Embroidery in pinks, blues, greens and purples.'

Description (Physical description)
A small, square hand towel made from tan-coloured linen. It features an embroidered design along one edge of blue and pink flowers in vases, highlighted with gold thread, with a green and black leaf design between each one. Below this, right along the edge, is a rectangular border of blue and pink flowers surrounded by black 'x' stitches.
