Description (CMS Description)
Hourglass shaped earplug made from whale tooth with a polished surface. Both ends are slightly oval in shape with crenelated edging; one side is smooth and plain and the other has a hole bored into the centre. The surface is covered with small scratches and there is an semi-circular shaped indentation on one side. '1923.H111.' and 'Z- 2718 B' inscribed in black ink on the object.
