Description (CMS Description)
Small pendant carved from a piece of spondylus shell, rectangular in shape. The top is pierced for attachment. Four small fragments of 4-ply plaited vegetable fibre woven with small white en blue glass beads are still attached to the hole. A small modern rectangular label attached to the vegetable fibre strands reads [handwritten in black ink:] 'Z 2713'. There might have been a pencil inscription on the back of the pendant.
